1 Foreword

JB/T 7166-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7166-2004, JB/T 7166-1993.

2 Scope

JB/T 7166-2014 is the Chinese recommended machinery industry standard for the cold extruded parts of rock drilling machines and pneumatic tools. It classifies these parts and sets out the technical requirements and the inspection rules for them. The standard covers parts formed on extrusion presses with the metal below 400 °C. GB/T 3078, GB/T 6478 and YS/T 649-2007 are quoted and are quoted by it it. It takes the place of JB/T 7166-2004, the previous edition of the same number. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
