1 Foreword

JB/T 7167-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7167-2004, JB/T 7167-1993.

2 Scope

JB/T 7167-2014 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard covering the welded parts of rock drilling machines and pneumatic tools. It sets the conditions for the use of the raw materials and for welding, and it gives the inspection and acceptance requirements and the methods for cutting, brazing and welding work. Welded structures made from carbon steel and low alloy steel are what it addresses. A long list of standards is quoted with it, among them GB/T 699, GB/T 700, GB/T 1591, GB/T 3077, GB/T 3323, GB/T 5117, GB/T 5118, GB/T 11345 and JB/T 6046. It replaces JB/T 7167-2004. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
