JB/T 7171-2011 was issued by MIIT on 20 December 2011 and has been in force since 1 April 2012.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7171-2006, JB/T 7171-1993.
2 Scope
JB/T 7171-2011 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for hand-held internal combustion rock drills. It sets the types and basic parameters of the drills, their technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and it closes with marking, packaging, transport and storage. Hand-held internal combustion rock drills are what the requirements are written for. The standard is filed under Chinese classification J84 and international classification 73.100.10, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is the issuing body, and it takes the place of JB/T 7171-2006.
