Foreword

GB/T 19725 "Safety requirements and tests of portable brush cutters and lawn mowers for agricultural and forestry machinery" is divided into the following two parts.

--- Part 1. Side-mounted power machinery;

--- Part 2. Piggyback power machinery.

This part is part 1 of GB/T 19725.

This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces GB 19725.1-2014 "Safety Requirements and Tests of Portable Brush cutters and Lawn Mowers for Agriculture and Forestry Machinery.

Side-mounted power machinery ", the main technical content has no change compared with GB 19725.1-2014.

The translation method used in this part is equivalent to the adoption of ISO 11806-1..2011 "Safety Requirements and Trials of Portable Brushcutters and Lawnmowers for Agriculture and Forestry Machinery"

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 19725 stipulates the portable side-mounted power that uses the internal combustion engine as the power source and transmits the mechanical power to the cutting accessory

Safety requirements and test methods for the design, structure and use of brush cutters and lawn mowers (hereinafter referred to as complete machines). This section proposes

The method of removing or reducing various hazards generated during the use of brush cutters and lawn mowers stipulates the relevant safety provided by the manufacturer

Requirements for operational information.

This section covers all serious dangers related to the whole machine during normal use and reasonable, foreseeable misuse of the whole machine by the manufacturer.

Dangerous situations and serious hazard events.

Note. See Appendix C for a list of serious hazards.

This section does not apply to the whole machine equipped with non-integral metal cutting accessories, such as chain swing or knife blade.

This section applies to portable side-mounted power brush cutters and lawn mowers produced after their implementation.
