1 Foreword
JB/T 9847-2010 was issued by MIIT on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9847-1999.
2 Scope
JB/T 9847-2010, a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry, deals with pneumatic drills. Its provisions cover the types and basic parameters of the drill, the technical requirements it must meet, the test methods and inspection rules used to verify them, and the rules for marking, packaging, transport and storage. The standard applies to pneumatic drills powered by compressed air. Responsibility for issuing it lay with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and it takes the place of JB/T 9847-1999.
