Scope
GB/T 24356-2023 is the English-translated version of 测绘成果质量检查与验收.
GB/T 24356-2023 sets out how the quality of surveying and mapping results is inspected and accepted.
It fixes the basic rules - two-level inspection with one-level acceptance, the mathematical accuracy test, quality levels, records and reports and the handling of quality problems - then the way results are batched and sampled and the way unit results, samples and inspection lots are assessed and reported.
Its longest clause gives the quality elements and the classification of errors and omissions for each kind of result: geodesy, remote sensing data acquisition, photogrammetry, engineering surveys, boundary and property mapping, oceanographic mapping, mapping and geographic information systems.
Three informative annexes give the inspection record form and the content and format of the report. It has no normative references. It replaces GB/T 24356-2009, was issued on 23 May 2023 and has applied since 23 May 2023.

Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 24356-2009 "Quality Inspection and Acceptance of Surveying and Mapping Results". This document is consistent with GB/T 24356-2009 In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
--- Changed the sampling method (see 5.1, 5.2, 6.1 of the 2009 edition);
---Changed the classification of some surveying and mapping results (see Table 4, Table 6 of the 2009 edition);
---Added 12 small categories of unit achievement quality elements and error and omission classifications, including satellite navigation and positioning reference station network positioning services, regional Geoid-like refinement, airborne lidar point cloud data, airborne synthetic aperture radar images, oblique aerial photography images, 3D Geographic information model, planning survey, bathymetry, coastal zone topographic map, ocean topographic map (undersea topographic map), island (reef) topography Maps, image maps (see 7.2.7, 7.2.8, 7.3.3, 7.3.4, 7.3.5, 7.4.5, 7.5.9, 7.7.2, 7.7.3, 7.8.6);
---Deleted or merged 4 small categories of repeated, outdated or changed unit achievement quality elements and error and omission classifications, including traverse measurement, Photoelectric ranging, aerial photography scanning data, as-built measurement (see 8.2, 8.3, 8.5 of the 2009 edition);
---Optimized the achievement types, quality elements and error and omission classification of some unit achievements, including GPS to GNSS, aerial photography The results are adjusted to digital aerial photography images, and the navigation electronic map is changed to an electronic map (see 7.2.1, 7.3.2, 7.8.5, 2009 edition 8.2, 8.3, 8.10);
---Changed the quality elements and error and omission classification of some unit results, including photo control survey, aerial triangulation survey, line survey, ground survey Management information system (see 7.4.1, 7.4.3, 7.5.4, 7.8.5, 7.9, 8.4, 8.5, 8.9 of the 2009 edition).
1 Scope
This document specifies the basic regulations for quality inspection and acceptance of surveying and mapping results, batching and sampling, quality inspection and evaluation, types of surveying and mapping results, Quality elements of unit results and classification of errors and omissions.
This document is applicable to the quality inspection and acceptance of surveying and mapping results produced according to current national standards and industry standards. Supervision inspection, data identification And quality appraisal and inspection of other surveying and mapping results can be implemented by reference.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Surveying and mapping results
By measuring, collecting and expressing the shape, size, spatial position and attributes of natural geographical elements or surface artificial facilities, etc. and processing the acquired data and information to form data, information, maps, systems and related technical materials.
3.2 Unit achievement item
The basic unit divided for the inspection and acceptance of surveying and mapping results.
Note: The unit results can be point, survey section, network, area, area, administrative division, etc.
3.3 Lot
A collection of results of the same type of units in the same survey area and with the same specifications gathered under the same production conditions or in a prescribed manner.
3.4 Inspection lot
In the implementation process of inspection and acceptance, the batch is divided into one or more unit results sets for the quality inspection of the results.
3.5 Batch lot size
The number of unit results in a batch of results.
3.6 Sample
A set of unit results extracted from an inspection lot to determine the quality of the batch results.
3.7 Sample size
The number of unit outcomes in the sample.
