GB/T 41452-2022 is the Chinese national code of practice for building three-dimensional models of roads and their ancillary facilities from vehicle-borne mobile mapping.

It covers the space-time datum, data formats, quality indicators and model naming; job preparation, site reconnaissance and instrument checks; the technical design document; route planning, control point mapping and the acquisition and preprocessing of positioning, image and point cloud data; and the production of the two kinds of model - the continuous surface model, built as a textured triangulated irregular network, and the entity model of the road, its ancillary facilities and other objects, each at two levels.

Metadata, the two-level inspection and one-level acceptance of the results and their submission close it. It cites GB/T 2260, GB/T 24356, CH/T 1004 and CH/T 6004-2016, was issued on 15 April 2022 and has applied since the same date.
