Foreword

GB/T 10001 "Public Information Graphical Symbols" is divided into general symbols and symbols in specific fields according to the field of application. It is proposed to be divided into the following section.

1.General symbols;

2.Tourism and leisure symbols;

3.Passenger and cargo symbols;

4.Sports and fitness symbols;

5.Shopping symbols;

6.Medical care symbols;

7.Office teaching symbols;

8.Behavior indicators;

9.Symbols for barrier-free facilities;

10.Common symbol elements. This part is Part 9 of GB/T 10001. This section is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009 "Guidelines for Standardization Part

1.Standard Structure and Compilation". This part replaces GB/T 10001.9-2008 "Public Information Graphic Symbols for Signs Part

9.Symbols for Barrier-Free Facilities", and Compared with GB/T 10001.9-2008, the main technical changes are as follows:

This part of GB/T 10001 defines barrier-free devices for the disabled, the elderly, the injured and other people with special needs. 5 Application

5.1 This part should be used in conjunction with GB/T 10001.1.In application, if other graphic symbols are needed, the other graphic symbols in GB/T 10001 should be used. Select from the remaining part.

5.2 If you need to design a new graphic symbol, it should be designed in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 16903, and should be designed in accordance with GB/T 16900.2 and GB/T 16903.31) requirements for testing. 1) This standard is proposed to be revised and renumbered as GB/T 16900.3.
