3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 accessibility needs

Permanent or temporary loss or deficiency of body functions, resulting in impairment of movement, cognition or expression or situational needs.

3.2 accessible facilities

Access roads, buildings, and transportation facilities designed for people with accessibility needs to travel independently, safely, and conveniently and participate in social activities.

3.3 accessible access and circulation facilities
