Foreword

GB/T 16900 is one of the national standards in the "Graphic Symbol Representation Rules" series. The structure and name of this series of national standards are as follows.

a) GB/T 16900 "Graphic Symbol Representation Rules" is intended to be divided into the following 4 parts.

--- Part 1. General Provisions;

--- Part 2. Understanding test method;

--- Part 3. Perception test method;

--- Part 4. Object correlation test method.

b) GB/T 16901 "Rules for Representing Technical Documents with Graphic Symbols" is divided into the following parts.

--- Part 1. Basic rules.

c) GB/T 16902 "Rules for expressing equipment with graphical symbols" is divided into the following 5 parts.

--- Part 1. Design principles of symbol original drawings;

--- Part 2. The form and use of arrows;

--- Part 3. Application Guidelines;

--- Part 4. Guidelines for redrawing graphical symbols as icons;

--- Part 5. Design guidelines for icons.

d) GB/T 16903 "Design Principles and Requirements for Graphic Information Symbols for Symbols Representing Rules of Graphic Symbols".

This part is Part 2 of GB/T 16900.

This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces GB/T 16903.2-2013 "Rules for the representation of signs with graphical symbols Part 2. Test method for understanding", and

Compared with GB/T 16903.2-2013, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- Deleted the specific entries in the terminology of Chapter 3 (see Chapter 3 of the.2013 edition);

--- Simplify the information that needs to be collected before the test to prepare for the test, and move the specific requirements of the test to the stored test materials (see section

(Chapter 5 and 6.2, Chapter 5 of the.2013 edition);

--- Removed the requirements for evaluation and evaluation (see Chapter 7 of the.2013 edition);

--- Deleted the material samples and related forms of evaluation and evaluation (see Appendix B of the.2013 edition).

This part uses the redrafting method to modify the use of ISO 9186-1..2014 "Graphic Symbol Test Method Part 1. Understanding Test

method".

Compared with ISO 9186-1..2014, this part has the following structural changes.

--- Change Chapter 5 from suspended paragraph to untitled first-level article;

--- Change the suspended section under 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, 6.7 to the untitled second level.

The technical differences between this part and ISO 9186-1..2014 and the reasons are as follows.

--- With regard to normative quotation documents, this part has been adjusted with technical differences to adapt to China's technical conditions and adjustments

The situation is reflected in Chapter 2 "Regulatory Reference Documents", with specific adjustments as follows.

* Replace ISO 17724 with GB/T 15565 (see Chapter 3);

* Replace ISO 9241-400 with GB/T 18978.400 equivalent to international standards (see 6.2.6);

* Replace the obsolete ISO 9241-12 with ISO 9241-125 (see 6.2.6).

--- Move the second paragraph in the "Scope" that does not meet the requirements of GB/T 1.1-2009 to the introduction.

--- Deleted specific items in the terms (the terms have been defined in GB/T 15565).

--- Due to the fact that China has not yet carried out the proposal of standardization of graphical symbols, it is necessary to delete or modify

No. Standardization proposal related requirements, such as deleting the first paragraph of Chapter 5 and Note 1, amending "Proposer" in 5.2, the first paragraph of 6.3.1.

--- Change ISO 9186-1..2014 test requirements for different countries to test requirements for different regions, such as 6.2.2, 6.3.1.

--- The education level has been described in terms of our country, so delete the relevant description of Note 3 in 6.2.2.

The following editorial changes have been made in this section.

--- Modify the standard name to "Graphic Symbol Representation Rules Part 2. Understanding Test Method";

--- Replace some graphic symbols in ISO 9186-1..2014 with graphic symbols in national standards, such as A.3, A.4.

Due to the increasing use of non-verbal forms as information expression in buildings, other places and public services, multinational travel
