Scope

GB/T 41011-2021 is the English-translated version of 旅游景区可持续发展指南.

GB/T 41011-2021 gives guidance on the sustainable development of tourist attractions.

After a set of general principles it deals with the protection of resources and the environment, covering natural and cultural resources, resource saving and reuse, pollution reduction and risk control; with support for the local economy and communities, local employment, community rights and public participation; with visitor experience and reception services, including interpretation systems, carrying capacity control and the public environment; and with sustainable management and operations, from strategy and planning control to safety, training and monitoring.

It applies to natural, cultural, rural and comprehensive attractions, while modern entertainment attractions built mainly around themed artificial landscapes may refer to it. It was issued on 1 November 2021 and has applied since 1 November 2021.

1 Scope

This document provides general principles for sustainable development of tourist attractions, management of resources and environmental protection, promotion of economic and social development, tourism Guidance on experience and hospitality services, sustainable management and operations.

This document is applicable to natural landscape, cultural landscape, rural pastoral, comprehensive attraction (the core attraction includes multiple types) tourism Sustainable development of tourist attractions. Modern entertainment (the core attractions are mainly themed artificial landscapes) and other attractive tourist attractions. Sustainable development can refer to use.
