Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 31384-2015 "Specifications for the Installation of Public Information Guidance Systems in Tourist Attractions" and is consistent with GB/T 31384-2015.

In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Chapter 1 “Scope” has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2015 edition);

b) Change “information board” in the guidance element to “information index sign” (see 4.2, 6.6, 4.2, 6.5 of the 2015 edition);

c) Added “description signs” and their design requirements (see 4.2, 6.8);

d) Added “instruction signs” and “prompt signs” and their design and setting requirements (see 4.2, 6.9, 7.3.8.5);

e) Change “dissuasion sign” to “behavior instruction sign” (see 4.2, 6.10, 4.2, 6.8 of the 2015 edition);

f) Added “General Requirements” (see Chapter 5);

g) Change “General Principles” to “General Principles” (see 6.1, 7.1, Chapter 5 of the 2015 edition);

h) Added the requirements for the design of guidance elements for accessibility (see 6.1.2);

i) The design requirements for location signs of barrier-free facilities have been deleted (see 6.1.5 of the 2015 edition);

j) The description of the design requirements for “arrows” in guide signs has been changed (see 6.3.5, 6.2.5 of the 2015 edition);

k) Changed the design requirements for “panoramic view” [see 6.4a), 6.3a) of the 2015 edition];

l) Changed the design requirements for the “Navigation Map” and changed the “auxiliary map” in the “Navigation Map” to “overview map” [see 6.4b]. 6.3b)];

m) Added design requirements for "circuit diagram" [see 6.4c)]

n) The horizontal distance from the entrance and exit of the tourist attraction to the boundary of the coverage area in the surrounding orientation map has been deleted [see the 2015 edition of 6.4b)];

o) The content of "Information Index Mark" has been changed (see 6.6, 6.5 of the 2015 edition);

p) Changed the design requirements for evacuation route signs [see 6.9f), 6.7d of the 2015 edition)];

q) Added the provision of setting up plan diagrams and block orientation maps according to actual orientation (see 7.1.6);

r) The composition of the tour guidance system has been changed (see 7.3.1, 8.1 of the 2015 edition);

s) Changed the requirements for the location signs, guide signs, service functions or facilities of the visitor center (see 7.3.3.1, 7.3.3.3, 2015 Version 8.8.1);

t) Added requirements for the location signs of tourist scenic area gates and guide signs at major intersections (see 7.3.4.3 and 7.4.2);

u) Added the setting requirements for information index flag (see 7.3.9.2);

v) The requirement that “guidebooks and other materials should be provided to tourists at the main entrances of tourist attractions” has been deleted (see 8.3.6 of the 2015 edition).

1 Scope

This document stipulates the composition, overall requirements, and guidance requirements of the public information guidance system of tourist attractions (hereinafter referred to as the tourist attraction guidance system).

Requirements for element design and setup and verification methods.

This document is applicable to the design and setting of guidance systems in tourist attractions.

This document does not apply to the design and installation of electronic guidance, voice guidance and dynamic guidance elements.
