Scope

GB/T 2547-2026 is the English-translated version of 塑料 取样方法.

GB/T 2547-2026 is a standard on how to sample plastics. It sets out the sampling procedure, how to determine the sample size, how samples are extracted, and the sampling report.

The main chapters cover the sampling procedure and the determination of the sample size n. It applies to the sampling of homogeneous solid plastics. Changes from the previous edition include a wider scope, the addition of a sampling procedure and a change to the sample size.

The standard has no normative references. Issued on 2 July 2026 and applicable from 1 February 2027, it replaces GB/T 2547-2008.

Foreword

This document conforms to GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document replaces GB/T 2547-2008 "Sampling Methods for Plastics". Compared with GB/T 2547-2008, the only changes are structural adjustments and editing.

Aside from the gender changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The scope of application has been expanded (see Chapter 1);

b) A sampling procedure has been added (see Chapter 4);

c) The sample size has been changed (see 7.1, 4.2 in the 2008 edition).

d) Added sampling by opening the bag (see 7.2);

e) A sampling report has been added (see Chapter 8).

1 Scope

This document specifies the sampling procedure for plastic sampling, the determination of sample size, sample extraction, sampling, and sampling report.

This document applies to the sampling of homogeneous solid plastics.

2 Normative references

This document has no normative references.

3 Terms and Definitions

This document does not contain any terms or definitions that need to be defined.

4 Sampling Procedure

The plastic sampling procedure is as follows.

a) Clearly define the scope of the overall product, such as a specific delivery batch agreed upon by the buyer and seller, a production batch with intermittent production, or a batch with continuous production. Production materials, etc., inside the compartment;

b) Determine the historical data for the overall product and identify the standard deviation or coefficient of variation of the product;

c) Determine the sample size and sample quantity;

e) Determine the sampling method;

f) Complete the sampling according to the determined sampling method and sampling procedure;

g) Generate a sampling report.

5 Determining the sample size

5.1 Determining the Sample Size n

To obtain sample data that truly reflects the overall quality of the product, an appropriate number of sampling units (i.e., a large sample size) should be obtained from the population.

(Small). When historical product data is available, the sample size can be obtained using formula (1). n = (A sigma 0/E)2 (1) In the formula. n -- sample size;

A -- Probability coefficient, a statistical coefficient corresponding to the confidence level, representing an estimate of the overall product quality mean obtained from the sample.

The error between the average quality of the overall product measured for each sample unit and the average quality of the sampled product exceeds the maximum permissible error E. The corresponding probability;

sigma 0 -- An estimate of the overall standard deviation of product quality;

E -- The maximum permissible absolute error between the estimated value of the overall product quality average and the average value of the sampled product quality.
