GB/T 40322-2021 is the English-translated version of 热塑性弹性体家用和类似用途制冷器具用门密封材料规范.

GB/T 40322-2021 is the specification for the thermoplastic elastomer materials used to make the door seals of household and similar refrigerating appliances.

It covers requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage, and applies to the production of the thermoplastic elastomer premixes from which door sealing products are made.

The material is a uniform granular material of even colour with a smooth surface and no foreign impurities, its colour can be agreed between supplier and buyer, and its performance is to meet the values in Table 1 of the standard.

It refers to the GB/T methods for tensile properties, tear strength, Shore hardness, density, hot air ageing, compression set and low-temperature brittleness of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubber, and GB 21551.2 on antibacterial materials. It was issued on 20 August 2021 and has applied since 1 March 2022.

1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements for thermoplastic elastomer door sealing materials (hereinafter referred to as "materials") for household and similar refrigeration appliances Requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage.

This document applies to the production of thermoplastic elastomer premixes for door sealing products for household and similar refrigeration appliances.
