HG/T 4903-2016 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for dynamically fully vulcanized thermoplastic elastomer of the ethylene-propylene-diene rubber and polypropylene type, known as TPV. It deals with the naming of the material, its technical requirements and the test methods that go with them, the inspection rules, and packaging, marking, storage and transport. The material in question is EPDM/PP thermoplastic elastomer prepared by dynamic full vulcanization technology from EPDM and polypropylene as the main raw materials. Testing follows quoted standards including GB/T 528-2009, GB/T 529-2008, GB/T 531.1, GB/T 1690, GB/T 3512, GB/T 7759-1996, GB 8410, GB/T 9352 and ISO 6452-2007. Issued on 15 January 2016, it has applied since 1 July 2016.
