This document describes a method for determining the dynamic cut resistance of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubber using a dynamic cut resistance tester. This document applies to the determination of wear properties of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber under certain conditions when subjected to dynamic cutting by a specified tool. Yes, the test results are expressed as volumetric cutting amount and/or cutting resistance index.

3.1 The ability to resist wear on the material surface caused by periodic dynamic cutting.
