Scope

GB/T 32366-2025 is the English-translated version of 生物降解聚对苯二甲酸-己二酸丁二酯 (PBAT).

GB/T 32366-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the biodegradable copolyester of terephthalic acid, adipic acid and 1,4-butanediol — the appearance and the freedom from black specks, the water content and the melt flow rate, the terephthalic acid ratio in the chain, the tensile stress and strain at break and the Charpy notched impact strength, the fisheye count that shows up as a hole in blown film, and the resistance to hydrolysis and to light ageing. Issued on 28 March 2025, it has been in force since 1 October 2025, replacing GB/T 32366-2015.
