Foreword

GB/T 12006 "plastic polyamide" is currently divided into the following two parts.

--- Part 1. Determination of viscosity number;

--- Part 2. Determination of moisture.

This section GB/T Part 212 006, modifications adopted ISO 15512:1999 "Plastics - Determination of water content." this part of ISO 15512:1999 main technical differences are as follows.

--- Remove the original International Standard Method B.

--- For the ISO 15512:1999 international standard references, adoption of appropriate standards.

For ease of use, this section made the following editorial changes.

--- To the "international standards" be replaced by "this section";

--- Remove the ISO 15512:1999 Foreword;

--- Increasing the preface of this section;

--- Use of decimal symbol instead of the international standard decimal symbol ",". ",";

This Part replaces GB/T 12006.2-1989 "polyamide moisture content determination", compared with the GB/T 12006.2-1989, the main Technical content changes as follows.

--- Change the standard name;

--- Adds a normative references;

--- Increased precision and attention.

This part is proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.

This part of the National Standardization Technical Committee of plastic products and plastic General Method club (SAC/TC15/SC4) centralized.

This section is responsible for drafting. National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of synthetic resin.

1 Scope

1.1 GB/T 12006 specifies the determination of this part of polyamide pellets and water content of the finished product. These methods are not applied Plastic water absorption (dynamic equilibrium) Determination of GB/T 1034-2008 regulations, the method is suitable for low water content in the case of polyamide.

--- Method A 0.1% or more;

--- Method B 0.01% or more.

1.2 Part specifies two test methods

a) A method is anhydrous methanol extraction. The method uses anhydrous methanol in a sample of water extracted, and then using the Karl Fischer Titration of water collected. This method is applicable to all polyamide pellets, the maximum size of 4mm × 4mm × 3mm;

b) Method B is a pressure measurement. The value-added method by measuring the pressure in the vacuum caused by the evaporation of water to calculate water the amount. This method is not suitable polyamide sample other than water containing volatiles is used, they can produce more at room temperature Great pressure. If there is a lot of material in the volatile substances, such as gas chromatography it should be used to its regular testing. Correct the new material or a new brand of type should be the case.

3 Method A --- anhydrous methanol extraction method

3.1 Principle

Sample with anhydrous methanol extract, extracted from the water by Karl Fischer titration.

3.2 Reagents

During the analysis, use analytical reagent.

3.2.1 dry methanol. AR.

3.2.2 Karl Fischer reagents. water equivalent of about 3 mg/mL ~ 5 mg/mL. Reagent preparation and water equivalent calibration shall be GB/T 6283-2008 regulations.

3.3 Instrument

3.3.1 flask. capacity of 250mL, with ground glass stopper or rubber stoppers.
