HG/T 3697-2016 is the English-translated version of 纺织品用热熔胶粘剂.

HG/T 3697-2016 is the Chinese chemical industry standard, recommended in status, that covers hot-melt adhesives used on textiles. It gives the terms and definitions for these adhesives, their product classification and marking, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for packaging, marking, transport and storage. Its field is textile hot-melt adhesives based on copolyamide, copolyester, polyethylene of both high and low density, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and thermoplastic polyurethane. It is carried out with GB/T 1033.1-2008, GB/T 1636-2008, GB/T 2916-2007, GB/T 3682-2000, GB/T 9345.1-2008 and GB/T 16582-2008 among the standards it quotes. The 2002 edition, HG/T 3697-2002, is withdrawn by it. Issued on 15 January 2016, it has applied since 1 July 2016.
