HG/T 4910-2016 is the first part of a recommended Chinese chemical industry standard on hot melt adhesives for the paper elements of automotive filters, and this part treats the adhesives used in air filters. It sets the terms and definitions, the classification, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, then packaging, marking, transport and storage. Four kinds fall within it: ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), polyolefin (PO), copolyamide (PA) and copolyester (PES) hot melt adhesives for bonding the paper elements of automotive air filters. Testing is carried out with GB/T 528, GB/T 2791, GB/T 2943, GB/T 15332, HG/T 3660-1999, HG/T 3716, QC/T 794 and ASTM D4498-2007. Issued on 15 January 2016, it has applied since 1 July 2016.
