1 Foreword

2 Scope

This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that forms Part 7 of the specification for internal combustion engine cooling water pumps, the part given over to engineering plastic impellers. It fixes the terms and definitions, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules for engineering plastic impeller assemblies, and adds the provisions on marking, packaging, transport and storage. Its subject is the engineering plastic impeller assembly of a cooling water pump fitted to an internal combustion engine, called the impeller in the text.
