1 Foreword

JB/T 12425-2015 was issued by MIIT on 10 October 2015 and has been in force since 1 March 2016.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for low-wear unsaturated polyester moulding compounds intended for electrical use. It sets out the basic composition of these compounds and the performance they have to show, and it lays down the test methods, the inspection rules and the requirements for packaging, marking, transport and storage. Its scope is the low-wear grade of unsaturated polyester moulding compound used in electrical applications. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 1033.1, GB/T 1409, GB/T 1447 and GB/T 4207. It is classified under CCS K15 and ICS 29.035.20.
