1 Foreword

JB/T 10946-2010 was issued by MIIT on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for sheets based on unsaturated polyester moulding compounds for electrical purposes. Its subject matter is twofold: the requirements the sheets must meet, and the test methods by which those requirements are verified. The boards covered are made from glass fibre reinforced unsaturated polyester sheet moulding compound and are formed by hot curing in a mould.
