Scope

GB 15603-2022 is the English-translated version of 危险化学品仓库储存通则.

GB 15603 governs how hazardous chemicals are stored in a warehouse: the basic requirements for the building and its fire, ventilation and containment provisions, the storage requirements by hazard class, the rules for loading, unloading, handling and stacking, the procedures for receiving, holding and issuing stock, personal protection, safety management and the training of the staff. Annex A is the part consulted daily - the segregation table that says which classes may be stored together and which may not. The 2022 edition replaces GB 15603-1995 and aligns the segregation rules with the current classification. Issued on 29 December 2022, in force since 1 July 2023. Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting. This document replaces GB 15603-1995 "General Rules for the Storage of Commonly Used Chemical Hazardous Products". Compared with GB 15603-1995, except for structural adjustment and Apart from editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

---Changed the scope of application of the standard (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.1995 edition);

--- Changed the terms and definitions (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.1995 edition);

--- Changed storage facility requirements (see 4.1, 5.2, Chapter 5 of the.1995 edition);

--- Changed the requirements for safety facilities (see 4.1, Chapter 9 of the.1995 edition);

--- Deleted the relevant requirements of "open stacking" (see 4.3,
