Scope
GB/T 43360-2023 is the English-translated version of 增材制造用锆及锆合金粉.
GB/T 43360-2023 is the Chinese national standard for zirconium and zirconium alloy powder used in additive manufacturing.
It specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage, accompanying documents and the contents of the order form: four grades by chemical composition - Zr-1, Zr-2, Zr-4 and Zr-2.5Nb - and two classes, I and II, by particle size range, with the composition of each grade given in Table 1 and special requirements settled between supplier and purchaser.
It applies to powders prepared by the plasma rotating electrode, gas atomisation and plasma spheroidisation routes. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 1482 on Hall flowmeter flowability, GB/T 19077 on laser diffraction and YS/T 1297 on sphericity. Issued on 27 November 2023, it has applied since 1 June 2024.
