Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 19104-2008 "Peracetic acid solution", compared with GB/T 19104-2008, except for editorial changes. The main technical content changes are as follows:

---Modified the description of traits (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the.2008 edition);

---Modify the basis of "classification", from classification by purpose and concentration to classification by purpose, from three types to two types (see Chapter 5,.2008 edition Chapter 1);

---The mass fraction of "peroxyacetic acid" is changed from "15% (Type I), 18% (Type II), 25% (Type III)" to "2%~25%", deleted "Ignition residue" indicators (see Table 1, Table 1 of the.2008 edition);

---Modified the test method of arsenic content (see 7.5,

5.6 of the.2008 edition);

---Added the "model" in the logo (see 9.1.1,

---Added "packaging" in line with the provisions of GB 27833 (see 9.2,

---Added "storage" in line with the provisions of GB 15603, GB 28644.3 and GB 27833 (see 9.4,

1 Scope

GB/T 19104-2021 is the Chinese national standard on peracetic acid solution, in the field of chemical technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 20 August 2021 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 March 2022. Classification: ICS 71.080.40, CCS G17.
