GB/T 36656-2018 is the English-translated version of 电子级三乙基镓.

GB/T 36656-2018 is the Chinese national specification for electronic grade triethylgallium (C6H15Ga), a metal-organic source used mainly to grow compound semiconductor film materials.

It sets the technical requirements, with a minimum purity by mass fraction and maximum contents of metal and other elements such as silver, aluminium, arsenic, boron, barium, beryllium, bismuth and calcium, together with the test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transport, storage and safety of the product.

It applies to triethylgallium synthesised by the gallium-magnesium alloy, gallium trichloride or Grignard reagent routes and then purified. It was issued on 17 September 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and safety of triethylgallium.

This standard applies to gallium magnesium alloy method, gallium trichloride method, format reagent method, three chemical synthesis methods and purified and purified triethyl gallium. This product is mainly used to grow compound semiconductor film materials and the like.

Relative molecular mass: 156.91 (according to the international relative atomic mass in 2013)
