Scope

GB/T 47882-2026 is the English-translated version of 气体分析 基于比较测量的傅立叶变换红外光谱法.

GB/T 47882-2026 describes how gas components are measured by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy using the comparison method.

It covers the principle, test conditions, reagents and materials, the measurement system and a dynamic gas dilution device, sampling, the test steps, and the comparison calculation with single-point, two-point and multi-point calibration.

It also deals with precision, detection limit verification, quality assurance and control, and the test report. It applies to gaseous substances containing polar bonds, over a measurement range of 0.01 × 10^-6 to 1 × 10^-2 (mole fraction). Issued on 2 July 2026 and applicable from 1 February 2027.
