Scope
GB/T 26205-2026 is the English-translated version of 制冷空调设备和系统 减少卤代制冷剂排放规范.
GB/T 26205-2026 sets out how to reduce the release of halogenated refrigerants from refrigerating and air-conditioning equipment and systems. It covers the design, product development, manufacturing, installation, maintenance, operation and decommissioning of fixed-installation refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump equipment and systems.
It also covers refrigerant recovery, reuse and disposal, and handling and storage, with verification methods for each stage. An informative appendix gives recommended procedures and practices.
It applies to emissions of halogenated hydrocarbon and halogenated ether refrigerants. This edition adds terms for halogenated refrigerants and for the classification of systems and equipment.
Issued on 2 July 2026 and applicable from 1 February 2027, it replaces GB/T 26205-2010.
