Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB 12950-1991 "Safety Regulations for Explosion in Seismic Explosion". Compared with GB 12950-1991, except for structural adjustments and... Aside from editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) A new chapter on "Terms and Definitions" has been added (see Chapter 3);

b) The regulations concerning the "primary responsible persons for the safety management of civilian explosives" have been amended (see 4.2,

6.1 of the.1991 edition);

c) Added "Procurement and Acceptance of Explosive Materials" (see Chapter 5);

d) The requirement to build or rent temporary warehouses for storing explosive materials was changed (see 6.2,

4.1 of the.1991 version);

e) The requirements for "vehicles carrying explosives" have been changed (see 7.1,

3.1 of the.1991 edition);

f) Amended the "Qualifications Required of Drivers" and "Other Regulations for the Transportation of Explosives by Motor Vehicle" (see 7.2,

3.2 of the.1991 edition);

g) The regulations regarding the "quantity of explosive materials handled by hand" have been amended (see 7.3.4,

3.3.3 of the.1991 edition);

1 Scope

China's mandatory specification for blasting safety in seismic exploration. Seismic exploration finds oil and gas by setting off charges at the surface or in shot holes and recording the echoes from the rock below, which means explosives are being handled daily across open country, often on farmland, near roads and villages, by crews working far from any facility. That is the situation the specification addresses. It covers the transport and field storage of explosives and detonators, which must be separated at all times, the depth and stemming of shot holes, the safe distances from buildings, pipelines, power lines and people, the misfire procedure - the most dangerous moment in any blasting operation, because someone must approach a charge that did not fire - and the radio silence that prevents electric detonators being initiated by a transmitter. It applies to blasting operations in seismic survey.

This document specifies the procurement, acceptance, storage, transportation, use, disposal, emergency response, and other procedures related to explosives used in seismic exploration. Therefore, safety technical requirements for processing, quality and safety control. This document applies to oil and gas exploration, mineral exploration, hydrogeological and engineering geological research, environmental impact assessment, and geological structure analysis. 3.1 Blasting engineering technicians who have undergone professional training, passed the assessment, and obtained the corresponding qualifications, and who directly engage in blasting operations for seismic exploration.
