This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part

1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB 15563-2005 "Seismic charge column". Compared with GB 15563-2005, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes, In addition, the main technical changes are as follows:

1 Scope

GB 15563 sets the general technical conditions for industrial explosive products - the packaged charges used in mining, quarrying, demolition and seismic prospecting. It covers the requirements common to the family: the composition and its tolerances, the density, the detonation velocity and the reliability of initiation, the water resistance, the shelf life and the behaviour under storage and transport conditions, together with the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking and packaging that a mandatory explosives standard requires. Issued on 23 August 2024, in force since 1 September 2025, replacing GB 15563-2005. 3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 14659 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 Civilian blasting equipment of different shapes and uses that are made from gunpowder and explosives (excluding detonators) through structural design and processing.

Including explosive equipment for seismic exploration (seismic charge column, seismic bomb), special blasting equipment (detonator, rock crushing equipment, explosive processing equipment, smooth blasting equipment, pre-splitting blasting equipment), industrial explosives containing gunpowder, industrial explosives permitted for use in coal mines, etc.
