Foreword
This standard is modified in relation to ISO 105-B07:2009 "Textiles - Tests for Color Fastness - Part B07: Complex Colour Fastness to Light-perspiration" (English version). Compared with ISO 105-B07:2009, the main differences of this standard are as follows:
national or professional standard, and add reference to GB/T 730 and AATCC TM 15;
— Add carbon arc lamp light fastness test equipment in the Chapter of Equipment and Materials;
— Add sampling methods for different test specimens in Chapter 6; the test specimen dimension is changed to "not less than 45mm×10mm" from "not less than 40mm×10mm";
— Carry out editorial changes to Chapter 7; "blue wool standard sample" is changed to "blue wool standard sample 4"; specify exposure end point and the temperature of Grade 3 water for laundering, and add an annotation with regard to using blue wool standard sample.
This standard replaces GB/T 14576-1993 "Textiles - Testing Method for Complex Colour Fastness to Light and Perspiration".
Compared with GB/T 14576-1993, the main changes of this standard are as follows:
— Add FZ/T 01024 and AATCC TM 15 in Normative References; delete GB/T
— Add descriptions to balance, pH meter, artificial perspiration, Grade 3 water and spectrophotometer or color shading meter to Chapter 4; delete light and perspiration test container and cotton adjacent fabrics;
— Add perspiration formula and a kind of sour perspiration specified in AATCC TM
— Modify Chapter 6: Test Specimen; add sampling method of different specimens;
— Delete Method A in the original standard;
use of light fastness, perspiration fastness test container and cotton adjacent fabric; add the contents such as selection principle of perspiration, control method of test specimen moisture ratio, exposure condition, selection of blue wool standard sample and control principle of exposure end point;
This standard was proposed by China National Textile and Apparel Council.
This standard shall be under the jurisdiction of Subcommittee on Basic Standards of the National Technical Committee on Textiles of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 209/SC 1).
Drafting organizations of this standard: National Textile Quality Supervision Testing Center, National Military Supplies Quality Supervision Testing Center and Beijing Textile Products and Colorant Additive Quality Supervision Testing Station.

The previous edition replaced by this standard is as follows:
1 Scope
This standard specifies a test method of determining artificial light action colour fastness for textile test specimen under the action of perspiration.
This standard is applicable to various textiles.

For dated reference, the subsequent modifications (excluding correction) or revisions of these publications do not apply. However, all parties who reach an agreement according to this standard are encouraged to study whether the latest edition of these documents is applicable. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative documents referred to applies.
GB/T 6682 Water for Analytical Laboratory Use - Specification and Test Methods (GB/T 6682-2008, ISO 3696:1987, MOD) FZ/T O1096 Textiles - Tests for Colour Fastness-Colour Fastness to Artificial Light: Carbon Arc AATCC TM 15 Colour Fastness to Perspiration
3 Principle
The test specimen that is treated by artificial perspiration AND the blue wool standard sample are together placed in light fastness tester; and are exposed to sun under specified conditions. When the color fading of blue wool standard sample reaches the end point, take out the test specimen and assess its color change numerical rating with grey scale or meter.
4 Apparatus and Materials
4.1 Balance: accurate to 0.01g.
4.5 Artificial perspiration: see 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3.
4.6 Water-proof white plate: not containing fluorescent whitening.
4.7 Light fastness tester shall comply with GB/T 8427 or FZ/T 01096.
4.8 Grade 3 water shall comply with GB/T 6682.
4.9 Spectrophotometer or color shading meter shall comply with FZ/T 01024.
5 Preparation of Perspiration
5.1 Sour perspiration 1 (see AATCC TM 15); prepare with Grade 3 water (4.8) and use it as prepared. Every litre includes:
The pH value of liquor shall be 4.3±0.2; otherwise it shall be prepared again.
5.2 Sour perspiration 2 (see GB/T 3922); prepare with Grade 3 water (4.8) and use as prepared. Every litre includes:
5.3 Sour perspiration (see GB/T 3922); prepare with Grade 3 water (4.8) and use as prepared. Every litre includes:
6 Test Specimens
The test specimen’s dimension depends on the specimen quantity AND the shape and dimension of the specimen holder of light fastness tester used. The test specimen dimension is not less than 45mm×10mm. If the test specimen is fabric, it shall be attached to water-proof white plate closely; if the test specimen is yarn, it shall be wound around the water-proof white plate closely, or be fixed to the water-proof white plate in parallel; if the test specimen is loose fibre, it shall be combed, pressed and arranged into a uniform and thin layer and be fixed to a water-proof white plate. A test specimen shall be prepared for every kind of perspiration correspondingly.
7 Operation Procedures
7.1 Weigh the mass of test specimen, accurate to 0.01g. 7.2 Put the test specimen into a suitable container; add in 50mL of newly prepared perspiration (5.1, 5.2 or 5.3, category of perspiration used is determined after negotiation of relevant parties concerned). Immerse the test specimen completely into the perspiration; immerse for (30±2)min at room temperature; meanwhile, the test specimen shall be pressed and stirred in order to guarantee the test specimen is completely wet. 7.3 Take out the test specimen from perspiration; remove surplus perspiration from the test specimen; weigh the mass of the specimen and make its moisture ratio to be (100±5)%. 7.4 Fix test specimen immersed in perspiration to the water-proof white plate (4.6); do not cover the test specimen. Fix blue wool standard sample 4 (4.4) to another white plate. Notice not to be humidified by perspiration; cover it according to the Note: Other blue wool standard samples may also be adopted and each party concerned shall negotiate and determine in advance. 7.5 Install the white plate fixed with test specimen and blue wool standard sample to the specimen holder respectively. 7. […]
8 Rating
Assess the change in colour of the specimen with grey scale (4.3) or meter (4.9).
9 Test Report
The test report shall include the following content:
b) Detailed information of relevant test specimens;
d) Blue wool standard sample used and numerical rating at the exposure end point;
specimen corresponding to every kind of perspiration used;
g) Any deviation from this standard;
