Scope

GB/T 25804-2010 is the English-translated version of 还原红6B（C.I.还原红13）.

GB/T 25804-2010 specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage of the vat dye Vat red 6B (C.I. Vat red 13, molecular formula C32H22N4O2, CAS RN 4203-77-4), and applies to its product quality control.

The product is dark red to black granules or uniform powder; quality limits cover strength (100 points against the standard), shade, diffusion performance grade >= 4, dust resistance grade >= 3, large particles, suspension dispersion stability >= 95 %, and harmful aromatic amines and heavy metals as required by GB 19601 and GB 20814.

Minimum colour fastness ratings on pure cotton fabric at 1/1 standard depth are set for light, perspiration and light, washing at 95 °C, perspiration, rubbing, hot pressing at 200 °C and hypochlorite bleaching.

Test methods detail exhaust dyeing with whole-bath reduction (the arbitration method) and pad dyeing for shade and strength, and refer to GB/T and HG/T methods for the other properties; inspection rules distinguish factory and type inspection, and packages are 25 kg.
