Scope

GB/T 10662-2016 is the English-translated version of 分散深蓝S-3BG 200%（C.I.分散蓝79）.

GB/T 10662-2016 specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage of the dyestuff disperse dark blue S-3BG 200% (C.I. Disperse Blue 79, also sold as Disperse Dark Blue HGL; C23H25BrN6O10, CAS RN 3618-72-2), and applies to its product quality control.

Requirements are set at two grades, superior and qualified, for appearance, strength, visual and instrumental shade, diffusion performance, dispersibility, high-temperature dispersion stability, large particles, exhaustion rate at 130 °C, build-up, harmful aromatic amines and heavy metals, together with minimum colour fastness ratings on polyester fabric for light, washing, perspiration, dry heat, rubbing and hot pressing.

The test methods specify the dyeing conditions and dyebath preparation for shade and strength and refer to the national methods for each property; type and factory inspection, re-inspection and packaging in 25 kg or 50 kg units are also covered.

It replaces GB/T 10662-2007, adding an instrumental shade indicator, the CMC (2:1) colour difference formula and liquor ratio and depth for exhaustion rate, and revising the large particle, exhaustion rate and aromatic amine requirements.

Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 10662-2007, Disperse dark blue S-3BG 200% (C.I. Disperse Blue 79). Compared with GB/T 10662-2007, apart from editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

- the wording of the scope and the CAS RN have been modified (see Clause 1; Clause 1 of the 2007 edition);

- an instrumental shade measurement indicator has been added (see 3.1);

- the indicators for large particles and exhaustion rate have been modified (see 3.1; 3.2 of the 2007 edition);

- the control indicators and test methods for harmful aromatic amines have been modified (see 3.1 and 5.9; 3.2 and 5.9 of the 2007 edition);

- the method of assessing appearance has been modified (see 5.1; 5.1 of the 2007 edition);

- a provision on the colour difference formula has been added (see 5.2; 5.2 of the 2007 edition);

- provisions on the liquor ratio and depth of dyeing for the determination of exhaustion rate have been added (see 5.7; 5.7 of the 2007 edition);

- a 25 kg package size and its permitted net content tolerance have been added (see 7.3; 7.2 of the 2007 edition).
