Foreword

This document is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2020, Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.

This document replaces GB 19417-2003, Detonators with shock-conducting tube. Compared with GB 19417-2003, apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

- the scope has been changed (see Clause 1; Clause 1 of the 2003 edition);

- applicable terms and definitions have been added (see Clause 3);

- the classification and designation have been changed (see 4.1 and 4.2; Clause 3 of the 2003 edition);

- requirements for the material and identity information of commercial detonators have been added (see 5.1 and 5.2);

- the description of the appearance requirements has been changed (see 6.1; 4.1 of the 2003 edition);

- the requirement for the length of the shock-conducting tube has been deleted (see 4.2 of the 2003 edition);

- requirements for the leg wire insulation performance of electric detonators and electronic detonators have been added (see 6.2);

- the requirement for the maximum no-fire current of electric detonators has been added (see 6.3);

- the electrostatic sensitivity of electric detonators and electronic detonators has been added (see 6.4);

- the requirements for vibration resistance and tensile resistance have been changed (see 6.5 and 6.6; 4.3.1 and 4.3.4 of the 2003 edition);

- the requirements for initiating capability, water resistance and oil resistance of detonators with shock-conducting tube have been deleted (see 4.3.2, 4.3.3 and 4.3.6 of the 2003 edition);

- requirements for the impact resistance, drop resistance, temperature safety performance and bending resistance of commercial detonators have been added (see 6.7 to 6.10);

- requirements for the DC voltage impulse performance, AC voltage impulse performance and DC pulse voltage impulse performance of electronic detonators have been added (see 6.11 to 6.13);

- the requirement for the radio frequency sensitivity of electric detonators and electronic detonators has been added (see 6.14);

- the requirement for the firedamp safety of permissible commercial detonators for coal mines has been added (see 6.15);

- the requirement for the delay time has been changed (see 6.16; 4.3.5 of the 2003 edition);

- test methods for leg wire insulation performance, maximum no-fire current, electrostatic sensitivity, vibration resistance, tensile resistance, impact resistance, drop resistance, temperature safety performance, bending resistance, DC voltage impulse performance, AC voltage impulse performance, DC pulse voltage impulse performance, radio frequency sensitivity, firedamp safety and delay time have been added (see 7.2 to 7.16);

- the test methods for the initiating capability, water resistance, delay time and oil resistance of detonators with shock-conducting tube have been deleted (see 5.4, 5.5, 5.7 and 5.8 of the 2003 edition);

- the inspection classification has been changed (see 8.1; 6.1 of the 2003 edition);

- the inspection items, batching rules and sampling have been deleted (see 6.2 to 6.4 of the 2003 edition);

- factory inspection and type inspection have been added (see 8.2 and 8.3);

- requirements for coding have been added (see 9.1);

- the requirements for marking and identification have been changed (see 9.2; 7.1 of the 2003 edition);

- the requirements for accompanying documents have been changed (see 9.3; 7.2.2 of the 2003 edition);

- the requirements for packaging, transport and storage have been changed (see 10.1 to 10.3; 7.2.1, 7.3 and 7.4 of the 2003 edition);

- the requirement for packaging inspection has been deleted (see 7.2.3 of the 2003 edition);

- the supplementary provisions for the determination of delay time have been deleted (see Annex A of the 2003 edition);

- a supplement to the vibration resistance test method and a supplement to the tensile resistance test method for commercial detonators have been added (see Annex A and Annex B).
