Scope
HG/T 4039-2008 is the English-translated version of 还原艳紫2R(C.I.还原紫1).
The recommended chemical industry standard HG/T 4039-2008 applies to Vat brilliant violet 2R, the vat dye indexed as C.I. Vat Violet 1 and also known as vat violet B. It states the requirements for the product and the arrangements for sampling, test methods and inspection, as well as marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage, and it is used for the quality control of the dye. Beyond dyeing cotton, linen and viscose fibre and printing fabrics, the colorant is worked up into organic pigments and into colorants for plastics. Testing relies on GB/T 2374, GB/T 2377, GB/T 4467 and GB/T 5542 and on the fastness methods GB/T 3920, GB/T 3921.4 and GB/T 8427, with HG/T 3399 also quoted. Issued on 23 April 2008, it has applied since 1 October 2008.
