GB/T 41174-2021 is the English-translated version of 专业运动服装田径服.

GB/T 41174-2021 is the Chinese standard for professional track and field garments. It specifies sizes, quality requirements, inspection methods, sampling and judgement rules, product instructions, and packaging, transportation and storage.

The test methods it calls on cover fibre content, formaldehyde, pH, banned azo dyes, colour fastness to rubbing, soaping, perspiration, water and artificial light, tear and bursting strength, pilling, moisture absorption and quick drying, and broken needle residues.

It is used to judge the quality of professional track and field wear, and non-professional track and field garments may follow it for reference; it does not apply to clothing for infants aged 36 months and under.

Sportswear makers and testing laboratories use it. It was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.

1 Scope

This document specifies the size, requirements, inspection methods, sampling rules, judgment rules, product instructions, package packaging, transportation and storage.

This document is suitable for identifying the quality of professional sportswear tracksuits. Non-professional track and field uniforms can be implemented by reference.

This document does not apply to clothing for infants and toddlers aged 36 months and younger.
