1 Scope

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in SN/T 2028-2015 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Contract Goods

A shipment or receipt of goods in a single transaction, the quantity of which is supported by a specified contract or shipping manifest, consisting of one or more batches of goods.

3.2 batch goods

It is a collection of goods with a clear quantity and stable quality, and its key attributes such as product type, place of origin, and packaging specifications are consistent.

Note. This is usually used as the basic unit for comprehensive evaluation of the quality of goods under a contract.

3.3 Samplinggoods

A small quantity of goods taken from one location in a bulk shipment.

Note. Multiple samples need to be taken from different locations within the batch of goods for inspection.

3.4 Mixing Sample

If conditions permit, samples are taken from a specific batch of goods and mixed together.

3.5 Reducing the sample

The mixed sample was reduced to obtain a sample that is representative of the batch of goods.
