Foreword

Clauses 4, 5, 6 and 7 of this standard are mandatory; the rest is recommended.

This standard replaces GB 16806-1997 General technical requirements for fire linkage control equipment.

The main changes of this standard compared with GB 16806-1997 are as follows:

- the basic function test of the former standard has been divided into several parts: basic performance test of the fire linkage controller, of the gas extinguishing controller, of the fire electrical control device, of the emergency power supply for fire equipment, of the fire emergency broadcast equipment, of the fire telephone, of the transmission equipment, of the graphic display device for the fire control room, of modules, of fire hydrant buttons and of fire motorized devices;

- the leakage current test and the electric strength test replace the withstand voltage test for assessing safety performance;

- the damp heat, steady state (endurance) test, the surge immunity test, the immunity test to conducted disturbances induced by radio-frequency fields and the voltage dips, short interruptions and voltage variations immunity test have been added;

- some former test items have been deleted, such as the power-on test, the high temperature test and the low temperature storage test.

This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China.

This standard is under the jurisdiction of Subcommittee 6 of the National Technical Committee for Fire Protection Standardization.
