NB/T 11116-2023 is a management standard for the green development of low-quality coal comprehensive utilization power plants, typically fired with coal gangue or coal slime.

It gives general requirements on basic management and green risk factors, then requirements for cleaner production, including design, technical transformation, waste and audits, for energy and water saving, and for environmental protection and low carbon, from pollutant emissions, water pollution and noise to emergency preparedness.

Performance evaluation through internal audit, management review, improvement and environmental performance assessment closes the text, and a normative annex handles green risk identification and control.

1 Scope

This document stipulates the general requirements for green development management as well as the requirements for clean production, energy and water conservation, environmental protection and low carbon, and performance evaluation.

This document is applicable to low-quality coal comprehensive utilization power plants for green development management with the goal of energy conservation and emission reduction, and other power plants can refer to it for implementation.
