Scope

GB/T 26925-2025 is the English-translated version of 节水型企业 火力发电行业.

GB/T 26925-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering what qualifies a thermal power plant as a water-saving enterprise — the basic requirements, the management indicators scored by the method in the annex, which cover the metering of domestic and process water, the water balance test and the recovery of steam condensate, and the technical indicators of water intake per unit of electricity, calculated to the power industry rules rather than to the plant's own figures. Issued on 25 April 2025, it has been in force since 1 August 2025, replacing GB/T 26925-2011.
