Foreword

GB/T 6974 "Cranes term" divided into the following four parts.

--- Part 1. General terms;

--- Part 2. Mobile cranes;

--- Part 3. Tower cranes;

--- Part 5. Bridge and gantry cranes.

This section GB/T 6974 "Cranes term" Part 1.

This part identical with ISO 4306-1:2007 "Cranes Terminology - Part 1. General terms" (in English).

This section is equivalent translation ISO 4306-1:2007.

For ease of use, this section also made the following editorial changes.

a) "This part of ISO 4306" be replaced by "GB/T 6974 to the present section";

b) Delete the international standard preface;
