JB/T 9738-2015 is the English-translated version of 汽车起重机.

JB/T 9738-2015 was issued by MIIT on 10 October 2015 and has been in force since 1 March 2016.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9738-2000.
2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for truck cranes. It gives the terms and definitions, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules for these machines, and it adds the provisions on marking, packaging, transportation and storage.
