GB/T 24809 "Crane institutional requirements" is divided into five sections.

This part identical with ISO 10972-5:2006 "Cranes institutional requirements - Part 5. Bridge and gantry cranes" (English Version).

This section is equivalent translation ISO 10972-5:2006.

For ease of use, this section made the following editorial changes.

--- The term "this part of ISO 10972" with the words "GB/T 24809 in this section";

--- Delete ISO 10972-5:2006 Foreword;

--- For ISO 10972-5:2006 international standard references, have been adopted as the equivalent of the standard with our standard replaces the corresponding International standards, the other is not identical with direct reference to international standards for our standards.

This part is proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation.

1 Scope

GB/T 24809 provisions of this part of the GB/T 6974.1 general arrangement and set defined Bridge and gantry cranes and agencies Guide the design, selection and design requirements as well as parts manufacturing, assembly, installation and testing and other special requirements relating to the description, crane bodies General requirements according to GB/T 24809.1 requirements.

This section GB/T 24809 does not include verification at different limit states (yield strength, fatigue, wear, etc.) carrying capacity calculations rule.
