Foreword

GB/T 23723 "safe use of cranes" is divided into the following three parts.

--- Part 1. General;

--- Part 3. Tower cranes;

--- Part 4. jib crane.

This is Part 3 GB/T 23723 of.

This part identical with ISO 12480-3:2005 "safe use of cranes - Part 3. Tower cranes" (in English).

This section is equivalent translation ISO 12480-3:2005.

For ease of use, this section made the following editorial changes.

--- The term "this part of ISO 12480" with the words "GB/T 23723 in this section";

--- Delete ISO 12480-3:2005 Foreword;

--- For ISO 12480-3:2005 international standard reference has been adopted as the equivalent of our national standards cited in this section of this these national standards instead of the corresponding international standards.

Appendix A of this section is normative appendix, Appendix B is an informative annex.

1 Scope

GB/T 23723 provisions of this part of the tower crane (hereinafter referred to as tower crane) security requirements. This section should GB/T 23723.1 combination.

This section includes. tower crane safety procedures, management, planning, selection, installation and removal, dedicated infrastructure, operation and maintenance and drivers, crane Workers installed, use the command staff.

This section does not apply to human-driven (non-powered) tower crane, does not include at least one action is human-powered crane.

3 Terms and Definitions

GB/T 23723.1, GB/T 6974.1 and GB/T 6974.3 and established the following terms and definitions apply GB/T 23723 of this section.
