Foreword

GB/T 24818 "Cranes access and security facilities" is divided into four parts.

--- Part 1. General;

--- Part 2. Mobile cranes;

--- Part 3. Tower cranes;

--- Part 5. Bridge and gantry cranes.

This section GB/T 24818 Part 5.

This part identical with ISO 11660-5:2001 "Cranes access and security facilities - Part 5. Bridge and gantry crane Machine "(in English).

This section is equivalent translation ISO 11660-5:1995.

For ease of use, this section also made the following editorial changes.

--- The term "this part of ISO 11660" with the words "GB/T 24818 in this section";

--- Delete foreword international standards;

--- Of ISO 11660-5:2001 references to other international standards, with the international standard has been adopted as a standard in place of the corresponding country;

--- ISO 11660-5:2001 Reference in ISO 4306-1:2007, by reference in Chapter 1, it will move it to Chapter 2 specification Sexual references, and to GB/T 6974.1.

1 Scope

This section GB/T 24818 requirements by GB/T 6974.1 definition of bridge and gantry crane access and security facilities in the Special requirements, and gives the bridge and gantry cranes selection criteria related equipment under various anticipated conditions of use.

3 Channels

3.1 General

This section is a gateway to be installed on the ground or elevated rail bridge and gantry crane working channel, as well as the type of crane Routine and emergency maintenance, repair channel requirements.

3.2 Bridge crane plant or elevated track

3.2.1 Leading crane access platform

In the cab operated bridge and gantry cranes for the driver should access the access platform fixed to the support structure of the crane.

Table 1 Recommended given in the form of channels, should be consistent with GB/T 24818.1-2009 Table 6 shows the channel form and size.

3.2.2 Channel Platform

Leading to the crane should be normal channel access platform access. Channel entrances should be of the self-closing device to be protected, such as.

--- Vertical hinged fence.
