Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 27519-2011 "General Requirements for Livestock and Poultry Slaughtering and Processing Equipment". Compared with GB/T 27519-2011, except for the structure... Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2011 edition);

b) The definition of "product" has been changed (see 3.1,.2011 version 3.1);

c) The "Runtime Performance" definition has been removed (see

3.6 in the.2011 version);

d) Added definitions for "misalignment amount" (see 3.7), "fitting gap value" (see 3.8), and "gap unevenness value" (see 3.9);

e) The "Design" requirements have been changed (see 4.1,

5.2 of the.2011 edition), and the energy conservation and emission reduction requirements have been changed (see 4.1,

5.13 of the.2011 edition);

f) The "Materials" requirements have been changed (see 4.2, Chapter 4 of the.2011 edition);

g) Added the requirement for "common systems and common components" (see 4.3), and changed the requirements for bearings, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication systems, and operating components. Requirements (see 4.3, 5.7, 5.8, and

5.10.7 in the.2011 edition);

h) The "Appearance" requirements have been changed (see 4.4,

1 Scope

GB/T 27519-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering the general requirements for slaughter line equipment - the materials in contact with meat, the cleanability of every surface and joint, the sterilisation of tools between carcasses, the safety of powered machinery around people with knives, and the effluent it produces. It replaces GB/T 27519-2011, and it is the general part above the specific machines: GB/T 47150-2026 on carcass splitting and the rest of the series. It was issued on 27 February 2026 and has been in force since 1 September 2026, replacing GB/T 27519-2011. The document is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. This document specifies the design, materials, general systems and components, appearance, completeness, and usage information of livestock and poultry slaughtering and processing equipment.
