Scope
GB/T 2102-2022 is the English-translated version of 钢管的验收、包装、标志和质量证明书.
GB/T 2102-2022 sets the acceptance rules for steel tubular products and the general technical requirements for their packaging, marking and quality certificates.
It defines the terms it uses, among them packaging, marking, label, tag and bar code, and it covers inspection and acceptance, the determination of impact test results and the rules for reinspection.
The packaging clause deals with packaging materials, strapping packages and container packaging; the marking clause with marking content, marking methods and labels or tags; the last clause with what a quality certificate must carry, including a linear or two-dimensional bar code.
Where a product standard has special provisions, those provisions are followed. It cites GB/T 8170, GB/T 17505 and GB/T 30062. It replaces GB/T 2102-2006, was issued on 14 October 2022 and has applied since 1 May 2023.
