GB/T 34020.1-2017 is Part 1 of the three-part GB/T 34020 series on double wall copper-brazed steel tubes, and it covers the tubing system of the refrigerator; the other two parts cover automotive piping systems and the piping of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
It specifies the terms and definitions, the classification and marking, the size, shape, weight and tolerances, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, and the packaging, marking and quality certificate.
The double wall copper-brazed steel tube is defined as a welded tube made by winding copper-plated steel strip through two turns, that is through 720 degrees, so that the tube wall is formed of a double layer of strip, and then brazing it under heat in a reducing atmosphere.
It applies to the double wall copper-brazed steel tube used in the condenser, evaporator and compressor capillary piping system of a refrigerator, and also to such tube used in electrothermal and electrical products and in general piping.

1 Scope
