GB/T 34020.2-2017 is the English-translated version of 双层卷焊钢管第2部分：汽车管路系统用管.

GB/T 34020.2-2017 is the second of the three parts of GB/T 34020 on double wall copper-brazed steel tubes, and covers the tubing systems of motor vehicles.

It fixes the classification and marking, the dimensions, shape, weight and permissible tolerances, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the packaging, marking and quality certificate, and it also sets out the content of the order.

It applies to the double wall tube used in brake, clutch, power steering, fuel supply, engine, ventilation and cooling pipe systems, and also to the double wall tube used in mechanical hydraulic piping systems and in general engineering equipment.

Its terms are those defined in GB/T 34020.1, and the state of the outer surface of the tube and its code are given in a table. Two normative annexes give the double flaring test and the method for the residue test of internal surface cleanliness, and two informative annexes the burst pressure of the double wall tube and its coating.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 34020 specifies the classification and marking, double-layer welded steel pipe for automotive piping systems, size, shape, weight and allow Tolerance, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate.

This section applies to the brake, clutch, power steering, fuel into the oil, the engine, ventilation and cooling pipe system with double-roll welding Steel pipe, also applies to mechanical hydraulic piping systems and general engineering equipment used in double-rolled steel pipe (hereinafter referred to as "double pipe").
